The word sitio is Spanish for both place and siege. Sitio was a padded-wall soundproof room where only 1 visitor was allowed at a time. Inside the room there was a lamp, an armchair and 2 large speakers, continuously playing back a Compact Disc. Once inside the room, the door was locked and the visitor had to stay in for the duration of a whole piece from the audio program, which featured works and snippets by Arg, Dave Tarrida, EVOL, Florian Hecker, Mari Carmen Caballero and Terre Thaemlitz.
